Starring in 2 of the designs is the 1950s horror hostess: Maila Nurmi better known as Vampira. She starred in the B-horror classic Plan 9 from Outer Space which was then resurrected in the Ed Wood film by Tim Burton. Vampira is now retired in Hollywood after many years running an antique shop which sold her line of handcrafted clothing and costume jewellery. We heart crafty vampires!
