The September issue of BLISS magazine has just hit the newstands and if you skip to page 157 there is a whole page dedicated to Lady Luck Rules OK! Yippee! The article gives a brief lowdown on how I started my business with a few tips on how all you crafty tykes out there can turn your creative pastimes into a fruitful and fun career. Bliss magazine have also launched a competition to win work experience here with me at Lady Luck Rules OK! All you have to do is send one of your designs (clothing, shoes or jewellery): with your name, age, phone, address and e-mail to "Lady Luck" , Bliss, Endeavour House, 189 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8JG. The fashion team at Bliss will choose their top 20 and then I'll choose the winner. The closing date is 14th September 2005. I'm very excited and look forward to seeing all your super designs and meeting the sparkling talent who wins. Good Luck!

Janie - yeah I guess you can send a handbag design, I think it just needs to be something that shows a creative spark that's right for Lady Luck Rules OK. I guess you do have to live in the UK - sorry vivian!

Oh my Gaaad!!! I'm writing this really quickly so I can dash out and buy Bliss-wow my birthday's tomorrow and I know I certainly have two LLROK things and I'm SO EXCITED!! Woo hoo xxx

May I ask if there is a specific deadline at all or age restriction? Bliss haven't given too many details :/

From my point of view there is no age restriction I guess you just need to be old enough to be away from home and young enough to learn from the experience - if you're already well established it's not really worth it huh? I'm not sure of the deadline, I'll e-mail Bliss and as soon as I know I'll post it on the main entry. Good luck*

oh my god i have been working my ass off on my competition entry and i am v annoyed because i have been attempting to use my sis as a model but she slouches, fidgets and complains so much i have had to resort to using a ratty old maniquin from my mums bridal shop GRRRRRR models

wow! fab compettion - im still unsure, as i don' have the named copy of bliss - if we send in the finished product or just the design on a piece of paper??

Lucie - you can send as many designs as you like! As you can see by my reply to hannah at the top of the page just send the design on paper, not the real thing. Good luck!
Aww, i really wish I could enter but I have a ton of design work to do for college already, and thats for monday and then when i get back at college i'll have even more work. i would love to enter though, maybe i'll have time.

OMG! I bought that copy of bliss and i didn't even read that page. I'm so sorry to u all. But as soon as i've finished my chores i'm going to start designing something right away. I'm so excited. I'm only going int year 10 after the hols and that's when we do work experience! YAY!
