Wow...what a crazy night! We took along our first ever jewellery making workshop to a monthly meet up of the Shoreditch Sisters WI. We set up our little table of fun fandangles including wooden rose pendants and mini acrylic charm danglers which we had designed specially for the workshop. It was pretty overwhelming as the room filled up with so many more Sisters than we had anticipated so a plan B was quickly formulated...

We decided to split the big gaggle of gals into three smaller groups and after an introduction from the WI we handed out workshop pamplets and the jewellery making commenced!

First up the Sisters had a serious set of decisions to make! Did they want a slick matt red or show-girl-glitter topped red rose charm. Hmm. Then which mini charm to dangle from the rose...make do and mend scissors, rock'n'roll musical note or a take action lightning bolt? Lastly what to make the pendant into - a brooch or a necklace... Decisions, decisions.

Leah, Penni, Tara, Jen and I dashed about the place handing out the jewellery parts, explaining techniques and revealing top tips. There were SO many more lovely ladies than we could have ever hoped for which meant we ran out of supplies..eek. A list was promptly started to jot down the deets of any poor thing that didn't get to make a piece of jewellery on the night and we'll be sending out all the supplies to you gals very soon.

A *big* thanks to all the sassy Sisters who came along and joined in our first ever crazy jewellery making party. We definitely need to have a bigger venue for our next workshop and we'll most certainly organise a ticket system so we know how many people are coming.
