The return of the Teeny Bopper Ring

teenybopper_blog.gif

Exactly 2 years ago we created the original Teeny Bopper Rings and by popular demand we've brought them back - and they're cuter than EVER! When Becky our new studio assistant started in May it was her first creative project to source unusual novelty buttons to create a trio of hip new styles. Magical buttons arrived from far and wide including giant scissors, crafty owls, dinky cola bottles and life like pencil sharpeners...we ooh-ed and ahh-ed as every parcel arrived. Becky whipped the fun materials into 3 super snazzy styles - Picnic Party for fruity cutie candy gingham lovers; True Romance for hot dates and Arty Crafty Gal for creative cut and paste kids.

We then called upon our super photo shoot crew - sassy, young snapper Lindsey Sheffield and super cute Model Suki to create some early Seventies Jackie Annual style shots. Props included Becky's Grannies wooden knitting needles and heart shaped straws I picked up at a jumble sale and we made the tops by chopping the arms off American Apparel tees and sewing on plaited terry towelling sweat bands - do you think it'll catch on!?

Hey Nina!

Thanks for your Q. It was *easy peasy* - we sliced the sleeves off the Tees and then stitched the sweat bands on by hand. You could try Ebay or a trimmings store for similar terry towelling sweat bands to use on yours!

Have fun,

Becky @ LLROK
