Yum, Yum, Bubblegum!

bubblegum_front_page.jpg
Our long awaited new collection of summer fun necklaces are here...yippee! We've made them in a brand new pop art PVC material which is bendy'n'smooth and super bright! Shapes include a giant raspberry and toffee ice cream called Sprinkles; a jumbo Bad Apple with cute neon pink caterpillar; and FUN slogan in balloon writing - all 3 styles are strung from an eye popping rainbow cord which means you can choose the length you wear the necklace. Plus a pair of Girlie Glasses with seaside stripes strung from a pretty white vintage chain. Wear our ultra bright Bubblegum necklaces with simple white summer frocks, candy coloured jump suits and vintage swimsuits.

When our final set of samples arrived a few months ago we set to work putting together a photoshoot to showcase our new goodies. The lovely Libby Scarlett was our intern of the moment and her first task was to find us 2 super cute models. Here is how she did it...

Where to start? I had no clue when I was set my task to find a new model (or two) for the Lady Luck Rules OK photo shoot. MySpace was my first port of call for potential girls. As a MySpace virgin, a slow start was turned around with the help of expert MySpacer Laura (a fellow intern). The task was quite time consuming with the pages upon pages of girls who weren’t smiley enough for our sunshine brand. I was so excited when I did find a cute, quirky girl, I messaged them immediately, asking if they might be interested. My eyes were square after the MySpace marathon, so I was pleased to be going out scouting. I battled my way down Oxford Street on a sunny Friday afternoon, which challenged my multi-tasking skills: looking for girls whilst dodging the masses. After gawping at girls, I ran down the road like a lunatic after anyone I spotted! We arranged to meet with the best of my finds and chose two lovelies: Gina and Catriona (pronounced Catrina), both of which I had found on MySpace. That their names sound like a double-act was, believe it or not, accidental.
